Ningxiang County Branch Of The Agricultural Bank To Support Economic Development Of The County

Supporting for county economic development is one of strategic objectives of China Agricultural Bank’s Joint-stock reform, How to do a good job while good economic and financial support of the County, but also to ensure that appropriate risk control and return is a practical problem placed in front of the Agricultural Bank. Party National Congress for the first time made a breakthrough "to boost the county economy" and formally incorporated "county economy" into the national economic construction and reform areas. That shows, "the county economy" has been formally incorporated into the overall layout of the national economic construction and the economic reform. China’s economic development began to enter the conversion stage of focusing to the county economy. Therefore, studying the characteristics of the county economy and probing the financial support measures in the county economic conditions are the major issues of combining the long-term development strategy and the realistic business strategies after Agricultural Bank’s restructuring. For the current management of the Agricultural Bank, but also the urban and rural economic and social development, accelerating the building of new socialist countryside, it is of great practical and strategic significance.This paper, based on agricultural credit subsidy theory, rural financial market theory, imperfect competition market and other theories of financial supporting for economic growth, is concerned with financial how to support regional economic development under the county economy perspective. Firstly, on the internal mechanism this paper studies the problems in the financial support of county economic development, as well as the general idea to solve these problems, lays the foundation for the analysis below. Secondly, through the case analysis model , this paper describes in detail the actual situation of the Ningxiang county branch of the Agricultural Bank financial supporting for Ningxiang county economic development , analyzes the Ningxiang County financial demand and supply, through a series of data analysis, completely describes the status of the Agricultural Bank of China supporting for the economic development of Ningxiang County, and describes the various problems still existing from both internal and external dimensions. On this basis, the article throws the study perspective toward foreign countries which do better, analyzes regional economic development practices and lessons learned of Bangladesh and France, and draws three major revelations. Finally, the article, from three aspects of adjusting of bank’s internal operations strategies to support county economic development, taking advantage of government policies supporting agriculture to reduce credit risk and strengthening cooperation with other rural financial institutions, proposes the recommendations of strengthening the support of the Agricultural Bank of Ningxiang County Branch for County Economy.
