| It is undoubtedly that farmer’s training is developing important pushing to resolve issues concerning agriculture, farmer and rural and the construction of a well-off society. Farmer’s training plays an important role in improving farmers’ ideological and moral qualities, scientific and cultural qualities and production skills. Moreover, it is regarded as of strategic significance for promoting agriculture and rural economic development, maintaining social stability in rural areas and developing modern agriculture. Not only the Central Committee of CPC and the State Council but also the Ministries of the State Council and local governments attach great importance to farmer’s training ,they have energetically provided extraordinary amount of policies, materials, funds ,technology and human recourses to support the education and training .Pingdu City, one of the top hundred counties in China, in Shandong Province which is one of the China’s major agricultural provinces, located in the circum-Bohai Bay economic circle, has been identified as a liaison point for new farmer training by the Ministry of Education. The education and training in Pingdu plays a significant role in the effective transfer of rural surplus labor force, furthermore, the enhancement of farmers’ cultural quality and vocational skills will definitely promote the economic and social development in Qingdao and Shandong Province. The research-100 rural families in Pingdu City, analyses the current status of farmers’acquisition of training resources.Firstly, by questionnaires and interviews, the paper analyzes the supply status of training resources, the farmers’awareness and evaluation on the supply of training resources, farmers’demand for training and the channels for accessing training resources. It reveals the following problems :(1) the majority of farmers are in a marginalized position in the training resources, and their right to get training information was denied. (2) there is seriously inconsistence in what they learned and done, though the farmers are aware of the importance of science & technology and the training, their attention to training resources is in low level.(3)the farmers’demand for training is very strong and diversified, and they hope that the training is in free. (4) Farmers’imperative need. is practical technical training in agriculture, and they expect that the training type is preferably diversified. Secondly, we put the investigation data into SPSS17.0, through correlation analysis and analysis of difference to analyze the influencing factors on farmers’ access to training resources It presents the following results: (1) farmers’requirement degree, cognition degree and attention degree affect the acquisition of training resources, (2)farmers’ educational level and economic level also affect the acquisition.Finally, based on the above analysis conclusions, this paper put forward the following positive suggestions to improve the current status, such as to enhance the publicity of training knowledge, to improve the active consciousness and capacity of achieving information, to establish the mechanism of identifying training needs and the perfect education & training system, and to cultivate high-level talents of agriculture information. |
