With the period of the globalization of the world economy,Vietnam is also in the stage of transition between industrialization and modernization.The country's economic reforms have been made and integrated successfully into the world economy.Under this macro trend,the small and medium-sized enterprises in Vietnam are very important as they significantly boost the national economy and play now an important role in the overall economy of Vietnam.Today,the rivalry between companies has led to a competition for talent.Whether it is a large enterprise,a small or a medium-sized enterprise,only by having human resources suitable for the needs of enterprise development can companies be invincible in the fierce market competition.Employee training is an important part of the human resources development and management in every enterprise and it is also crucial for the improvement of work efficiency of employees.The training may also improve employees' working skills,professional knowledge,and management capabilities to achieve the common development of the company and its employees.Many small and medium-sized enterprises in Vietnam do not pay enough attention to employee training.Some companies have training but are not able not to achieve the desired results.Therefore,companies also need to evaluate the effectiveness of training and identify the factors that affect the effectiveness of the training for obtaining better training results.The dissertation focuses on the various factors,which influence the training results of small and medium-sized enterprises in Vietnam and shows how could these results be improved.Based on different theories;such as the training theory of human capital and the theory of learning organization,this paper analyses the influencing factors of employee training effectiveness.This full-text research study includes five aspects: The first part mainly elaborates on the diverse types of domestic and foreign research methods and highlights the importance of this study.The second part explains the relevant concepts of employee training,the purpose,and role of training and the theoretical basis of employee training.The third part covers the basic overview of the Vietnamese SMEs,in-depth analysis of the status quo of Vietnamese SME employee training and summarizes the current Vietnamese SMEs and its common employe training problems.The fourth part is to collect the survey data and use the SPSS software to analyze the characteristics of the company's employees,the company's current situation,and the characteristics of the training system and its content.The results of the questionnaire survey are further analyzed and discussed.The fifth part proposes effective measures to solve the problems which negatively affect the employee training.Finally,the thesis highlights the future of SMEs staff training in Vietnam.By the end of this study,by reaching the conclusion,a better overview of different practices and trainings of SMEs in Vietnam can be seen.It is hoped that the research results of the dissertation can have a high theoretical and practical reference value for the factors influencing the effect of the Vietnamese SME employee training.
