Studies On Mechanism Of Energy Technology Innovation To Coal-based Economy Transition

Based on newly-released academic research, industry transition supported by technologyinnovation is an effective way for coal resource-based economy transition. However, most ofthe technology studies remain at the policy level, and a through, in-depth research onmechanism is rarely seen. According to the supply-demand theory in economics, thetransition of energy industry structure under the circumstances of single energy supplystructure and growth in domestic demand is premise with shift the energy demand structure.Thus, the study on the interactive evolution between the energy production and utilizationsupported by the energy technology innovation and industry structure could be one of thebreakthrough in 21th century from the energy production and utilization standpoint.By looking back and describing the theory of resource-based economy transition andenergy technology innovation, the paper set up mechanism theory model of energytechnology innovation to coal-based economy transition by using the research achievementand relevant theoretical reflection have offered of energy technology innovation, industrialeconomics and evolution economics theory. This paper choose investigation on relevant staffof various prefectures in Shan xi province as data source, by using SPSS 17.0 and AMOSE7.0 statistical software for the empirical test to the model hypothesizes.Research indicate that energy technology innovation promote coal-based economy mainlythrough the changing of energy consumption construction and promoting of transitionenvironment in the first period and through the correction of wealth investment in the second.Energy technology innovation organization and innovation policy support have strongimpacts on coal-based economy transition while the influence degree of energy technologyinput and ability was small, which also reflects low level of energy technology innovation inShan Xi. Thus coal-based economy transition in Shan Xi should twist the direction of policyand strengthen the investment and support of energy technology based on changing of energy consumption construction. Finally, improve the transition environment by applying andguiding the new technology in order to push the transition of coal-based economy.
