Research On The Mode Of Urban-rural Income Gap And Its Influencing Factors In Jilin Province

In recent decades, China’s economy has been rapid development，and people’sliving standard has been greatly improved. We have made remarkable achievementsin all aspects, No matter how serious the international situation or the invasion of thefinancial crisis, it all can not stop the pace of progress in China. However, when theeconomy is in rapid development, we gradually realized that the not balance of thedifferent regional development led to the expansion of the urban-rural income gap.Even in some areas, the income gap between rich and poor gradually expand, and thephenomenon of polarization has been appeared.Jilin Province is my hometown, it is a famous old industrial bases in NortheastChina. It has two titles, the "Motor City" and "major grain-producing province", andit must been a very important position in the country’s economic circle. Jilin Provinceis a bit special, which led to its urban-rural income gap in the whole country is notvery prominent, relatively in moderate levels. Based on the love and care ofhometown, this article attempts to in-depth study of the urban-rural income gap inJilin Province, hoping to draw conclusions of the study to narrow the urban-ruralincome gap in our province.First, the departure from the theory of urban-rural divide at home and abroad, bylearning these knowledge to gain a preliminary understanding on this issue. Secondly,based on the knowledge acquired Select the1991-2010years of relevant economicdata, according to the situation of Jilin Province to analyze the trend of changes inincome gap, and using different indicators from all angles to describe it. I hope to beable to get a comprehensive、integrated、accurate conclusions. Then,through statisticalsoftware to simulate the change in trend of the gap between urban and rural areas ofJilin Province, and forecast the problems of the urban-rural gap.The most important part of this article is to analyze the factors that affect the gapbetween the urban and rural incomes in Jilin Province. First, according to the theory,summarize the influencing factors of the gap between urban and rural areasnationwide. Then, analyze the situation in Jilin Province, as well as its difference with the national. From the large strategic direction,feelings of consistency and specificityof the country’s economic situation. In the end, according to Jilin Province’s owncharacteristics to determine factors that affect the gap between urban and rural areasof Jilin Province. Quantify the factors and determine their degree of correlation withthe research questions in the form of data and weight. Finally, according to the resultsof the analysis, we propose the effective measures and proposals to improve theurban-rural income gap in Jilin Province.
