The Research Of The Space-time Change On The Scale Of Land Use For Rural And Urban Settlement In Jin Zhou In Recent15Years

The land-use change of urban and rural people is an important composition of the LUCC, and one of the most obvious manifestations of the human’s reformation on the nature. With the growing of China’s economy and increasing of the population, we require more land for living and Production. It is unPrecedented in our history in terms of the quantities of settlement and extension of the scale. However, there are differences between the urban and rural settlements due to the huge difference of the economy increasing factors.This paper takes the rural and urban settlement in Jing Zhou city of Hu Bei Province as the research object. According to the interaction theory between cities, fractal theory, landscape ecology theory, we investigated and analyzed the urban and rural citizens land use with the ArcGIS and analysis software. The conclusions are following,(1) The overall distribution of the urban settlement of Jing Zhou has the first urban settlement characteristic, but it is not obvious. The first characteristic shows the polarization characteristic. Both Jing Zhou and Sha Shi districts have a stronger urban characteristic as the better location. While the first characteristic is not obvious in Jian Li, Jiang Ling and Hong Hu, as the small towns develop slower than the big ones. The urban settlement distribution corresponds with Zipf during1995-2010, that have the fractal feature. The land use of small towns increased slowly and the middle developed town decreased, which caused the scale of town is not intensive and system of urban settlement is not good enough, though the scale of urban settlement has developed after15years.Based on the correlation dimension and aggregation dimension in Jing Zhou, the development reason for Jin Zhou is the interactions between the urban settlements in adjacent towns. However, the first characteristic feature rarely impacted the development of the urban settlement in Jing Zhou from1995to2010. This is corresponding with the analysis of the first characteristic.(2)The land use change of rural settlement in Jing Zhou is following. There is a big change on the overall scale and quantity in Jing Zhou. However, the scale extension almost in small rural settlement rather than the big scale rural settlements. That was influenced by the new countryside construction. There were small changes in Jing Zhou and the trends are different. The percentage of the rural settlement land use on the urban settlement is increasing in Sha Shi district and Jiang Lin town from1995to2010. Both the rural and urban settlements increased rapidly in Jiang Ling, especially the rural settlement.According to the change rate on the rural settlement land use, the rural settlement land use just changed slightly in Hong Hu, Jian Li and Gong An. While the biggest change is in Shang Shi.Based on the landscape pattern index of rural settlement in Jing Zhou, the average patch size increases and the land use change of rural settlement is increasing. The incensement of aggregation shows the settlement development on urban consistent with that on rural. They were influenced by the adjacent settlements a lot. While, the rural shape index show a declining trend, which means the rural settlement is going to be of regularization and the complication is decreasing.
