A Study On Urban Land-use Efficiency In Anhui Province

China is one of the countries with the least arable land per capita, along with the rapid development ofindustrialization and urbanization, which will inevitably take up more arable land, the people and land conflicts will become more prominent.. As one of the major grain producing areas in China, The central region’s protection of farmland has a special significance.In recent years, the central region is facing the dual opportunities of the Rise of Central China strategy and eastern parts of industrial transfer, the momentum of rapid economic growth, rapid expansion of city size, the maximum extent possible to improve theresources of urban land use efficiency rational use of land, taking into account the economic development and farmland protection has become a real problem facing the development of the central region.As representatives of the central region, this paper studies the prefectural-level city on urban land use in Anhui Province.First, this paper reviews the achievements of domestic and international urban land use theory and urban land use efficiency, defined the basic connotation of urban land use efficiency; Second, draw on existing research, the combination of principal component analysis and data envelopment analysis of the common advantages of the method both to construct acomposite evaluation model of urban land use efficiency; And finally, using the model, we get urban land use efficiency comparison results of17prefecture-level cities in Anhui Province from four different perspectives, obtaining urban land use relative efficiency of17prefecture-level cities, the following conclusions:(1) Lack of input factors, serious waste of resources, low levels of urban development is the basic status of the urban development in Anhui Province; From the time series point of view, the phenomenon of waste of resources exacerbated by the trend;(2) Generally, the majority of City land-use relative efficiency in Anhui Province, have the room for improvement;, Anhui Province, in different periods in different cities between the input and the output gap is not very significant;(3) The relative efficiency of urban land use and regional economic development level, city size is not necessarily linked, relatively backward economic level, smaller cities will also achieve a higher level of relative efficiency;(4) Urban development combined with their own resources, industry characteristics, land use efficiency, is conducive to efficiency; Regional large central cities generate economic radiation capacity at the same time,also contributed to the surrounding urban land use efficiency;Selected the object of Anhui Province as urban land use efficiency, concern the people and land of contradictions and problems in the Rise of Central China, there are important practical significance.
