Since the Reform and Opening up policy has been put out for more than 30 years, China has made remarkable achievements in various aspects. And even has become the second economic body in the world before Japan with a high level of people’s living standards. However, during the developing of the socialist market economy, there are still some problems, such as the widening gap between the rich and the poor, the rapid increasing of GDP and at meantime the slowing growth of the residents’revenue and the fast rise of the cost of living. All these problems can be rooted on the unjust distribution. If this unjust distribution keeps expanding and finally has become a growing concern of all the people, a series of economic and social problems will rise up.A modern master of justice-Rawls’s theory is significant for its contributions to the equally distribution of the social wealth, shortening the gap between the rich and the poor and paying attention to the weak. His theories about different treatment during distribution and equal opportunity to individuals will be helpful in tackling the unjust phenomena nowadays in China. This dissertation is discussed on the current status of the area of income distribution by methods of exemplification and value analysis, and is based on the understanding of available research fruits and Rawls’s opinions as far as possible. The writer rendered down to our country to study the unreasonable allocation of incomes and its reason and as a result put forward some advices to resolve this problem. The article is divided into 3 parts:Part 1:The background and main content of Rawls’s theory of distributive justice. This article introduced the relevant background and main content of Rawls’s theory for further understanding and applying it.Part 2:The value and reflection of Rawls’s theory of distributive justice. On the one hand, the author extracted the value form Rawls’s theory of distributive justice and analyzed usefulness about each value to current China. After a profound study of Rawls’s justice theory, on the other hand, the author found that it was a product of his time, and all of his theories can not escape from social material conditions of that time. But, on the other hand, this theory is also open for his constant mending during his whole life. So, as an open and active theory, Rawls’s justice theory, should be applied to the reality of modern China to search for the way of tackling problems of unjust distribution.Part3:How to use Rawls’s justice theory? After an investigation about some current problems in the area of distribution and their reasons, the author realized the distributive justice in China, there are two ideas for reference on Rawls’s theory of distributive justice. Firstly, we should assure the political equality of whole citizens and on one hand, there should be a reasonably different treatment to the weak on the system of arrangement in order to guarantee our people stand on the same line in social competition. On the other hand, the necessary intervention should be provided directly for tackling the unfairness of the social distribution system mainly in income distribution. All these methods are mean to turn current injustice of the distribution area to a more fair system.
