Research On Growth Factors And Growth Countermeasures Of Technological SMEs In Tianjin High-tech Industry Park

Technological small and medium-sized enterprises (technological SMEs) have been themost vigorous new force of the national economy. They are playing an irreplaceable role inindustrial structure adjustment, transformation of economic growth mode and speeding upeconomic development. As the aggregation zone of technological SMEs aggregate, TianjinHigh-tech Industry Park is the main power of promoting economic growth of Tianjin. But inthe growth process, technological SMEs meet many problems which will restrict theirdevelopment and even lead to bankrupt. Under this background, this paper makes a researchon growth factors and growth strategy of technological SMEs.Firstly, related theories of enterprise growth and concrete methods of resource allocationare discussed. This lays a solid theoretical basis for the research.Secondly, the concept of technological SME is defined, and the main problems in theirgrowth are analyzed. Then, to investigate the growth connotation of technological SMEs, astudy on their dynamic mechanism is made.Thirdly, to make a research on resource allocation and management for promoting thegrowth of technological SMEs, the model of resource optimization is build. Based on thismodel, according to the interview and investigation to entrepreneurs of 17 technologicalSMEs, this paper gets the practical problems of enterprise growth. And the evaluation indexof growth elements is set in accordance to the results of the interview and the influencingfactors of enterprise growth, then, the investigation questionnaire is designed. Middle-highmanagers of technological SMEs in Tianjin High-tech Industry Park are interviewed. At lastaccording to the results of the investigation questionnaire, factor analysis method is used to dothe analysis of data, and then the importance order of influencing factors is obtained. Thisshows clearly direction of the growth of technological SMEs.Finally, this paper puts forward countermeasures for enterprises and government inaccordance to the influencing factors which are obtained from the investigation questionnaire.The countermeasures are to promote the fast growth of technological SMEs.
