Study On The Influence Of Shanghai-Kunming High Speed Railway On Jiang Xi Regional Economy

Nowadays, high speed railway plays increasing important role in the development of social economy. High Speed Railway, as a modern means of transport with lower social costs, plays a significant role on easing transport tension, saving travel time, driving by the tertiary industry, providing employment opportunities, and promoting regional economic development.In the paper, in terms of regional economic theory, the regional economic influence of Shanghai-Kunming High Speed Rail would be researched, and using a series theories of Traffic Economic Belt, axis point of a progressive development, growth pole and the core of an edge, the relationships among Jiang Xi regional economic point, line, surface will be detailed analyzed to achieve the coordinated development of regional economic. Further, in the paper, from the perspectives of travel time value, urban space accessibility, urban space gravitation and urban scale, a comprehensive measure model is built to analyze the regional economic influence of Shanghai-Kunming High Speed Rail on Jiang Xi. Based on the study on these theories and measures analysis, some conclusions could be obtained, and then, the author gives some detailed policy suggestions to accelerate the development of Regional Economy via Shanghai-Kunming High Speed Rail, while to provide policy reference for the economic development of Jiang Xi in middle part of China.According to theoretical and empirical analysis, some conclusions could be summarized. Firstly, with the operation of Shanghai-Kunming High Speed Rail, it would promote the formation of Jiangxi regional traffic economic belt and bring the quick development of Jiang Xi regional economy. Secondly, the main influences of Shanghai-Kunming High Speed Rail on Jiangxi regional tourism reflects in the spatial structure, tourism node and the choice of travel line. Thirdly, the influence of Shanghai-Kunming High Speed Rail on the Jiang Xi regional economy is obvious and significant. Fourthly, in terms of travel time value, the influence of Shanghai-Kunming High Speed Rail on Jiang Xi is obviously higher than that on others areas along the high speed rail. Fifthly, the operation of Shanghai-Kunming High Speed Rail increases the reachability of Jiang Xi. Sixthly, the operation also increases the space gravitation among these provinces along the high speed rail and among these areas of Jiang Xi. Lastly, Shanghai-Kunming High Speed Rail not only helps Nan Chang create core growth pole, but also bring the quick development of small and medium-sized cities in Jiang Xi.
