The secondary distribution process of Chinese refined oil includes a series of logistics operations, such as transport vehicles scheduling, the certainty of gas stations’ demanded refined oil quantity and distribution time window, the choice of the distribution path, refined oil’s loading and unloading and so on. To make the distribution depot can dispatch the refined oil with correct amount to the specified oil stations within the time limitation, it is important to scientifically figure out the distribution radius. But until now, the current literature on the determining reasonable distribution radius is not that enough, it can’t better provide effective guidance theory and the practical mode reference to those petrochemical companies in our country, which results in that the range of extreme radius distribution is not reasonable to cause a huge loss. In order to reduce the secondary distribution costs and improve the logistics efficiency, it is of vital importance to focus on the optimization research of the secondary distribution radius.According to the way of the basic ideas, this study refers to the problem proposing, analyzing and solving mode to do research on the secondary distribution radius of Chinese refined oil based on the domestic and foreign literatures. First, according to the current operation situation and the actual benefits of refined oil in our country, it proves that the subjective distribution radius is wrong based on the current researches and it is necessary to figure out the correct distribution radius. Second, this paper defines the connotation of the radius distribution and makes an systematic analysis on the influencing factors. The three effecting factors are separately the distribution depot inventories, the gas stations’daily sales and added time window range and the choice of the distribution path. In the end, the paper built mathematical models for the computing and optimization of the refined oil’s secondary distribution radius, which includes the modeling and analysis of distribution cost optimization under the terms of refined oil’s short supply, gas stations’daily sales and added time window range and the distribution path optimization. Finally, this paper computes the value of distribution radius and uses a practical example to verify the practicality of the model. Based on the distribution optimization theories, this paper gives several suggestions on the secondary distribution radius of Chinese refined oil to use for reference. In this way, some problems of the unreasonable distribution radius can be solved effectively and scientifically to maximize the logistics efficiency.
