The Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Vocational Education Serving The New Rural Construction In Xiaogan

To build a new socialistic countryside is a great strategic act of promoting a fairly well-off society and constructing a harmonious society. The new rural construction should coordinately promote the construction of rural economy, rural politics, culture, society and the Party, and address the problems of agriculture, rural areas and farmers according to the requirements of "production development, well-off production, civilized rural morality, clean and tidy countryside, democratic management". The fundamental way out of "three dimensional rural issues" lies in enhancing the quality of rural labors. In addition, to strengthen vocational education is the important means to realize it. Therefore, building new socialistic countryside raises a new and higher requirement for the development of vocational education as well as provides a broad space for it. This article proceed with the vocational education in Xiaogan and the current situation of new rural construction, focusing on field investigation of the employment status under vocational education, the influence on the income for accepting this education, technical training and services of carrying it out, factors of influencing the farmers’application for employment and so on. In view of some problems, such as the phenomenon of "far away from agriculture, rural areas and farmers" which occurs in serving new rural construction by the vocational education in Xiaogan, weak ability of serving the construction, ossified running-school and teaching modes, etc., the paper expounds that the vocational education in Xiaogan should further the reform in system mechanism, resources integration, running-school modes, personnel training and improve the ability of serving the new rural construction constantly.
