The Southwest Railway Construction Corporation is always engaged in building railways, mending and renovating houses. In the last80th, with the continuous profound reform of China’s economy, we are encouraged to take advantages of present strengths, make efforts to run multiple businesses, so as to realize the increase in productivity and profit. In recent years, some multi-utility tall buildings built by our company have been highly thought of by the society. Nowadays, by making full use of government subsidized housing initiated by Chengdu railway bureau, our company is aiming to become a comprehensive large and medium-sized state-owned enterprise, covering businesses like real estate, renovation and construction of houses. However, our society is developing at such a great speed as that of the changes in macro and industrial environment, which exerts great pressure on the company’s sound existence and fast development. So it makes sense to make a comprehensive analysis of our company and based on which make decisions on the sphere of strategy.Formal and typical methods of strategy researching are used in this paper. Based on quantities of papers and dates, the exterior environment of the company is analyzed from the following perspectives:politics, economy, society, technology. Similarly, the company’s interior environment is analyzed from the parent competitiveness on recourses and capacity. The above analysis further helps to clarify the opportunities, threats, strengths, and weakness of the company. Decisions on strategy level are elaborated based on both SWOT combination analysis and regular strategy types. In special, these strategies include:market extension strategy, new products and serve developing strategy, lateral integration strategy, related diversification strategy. Specific tactical measures for the company to take out in detail are finally figured out.This paper’s analyzing process and research conclusion can contribute to architecture corporation’s strategy management to some extend.
