On The Analyses Of Characteristics And Countermeasures Of The Tourism In The Border Areas Of Guanaxi

The frontier tourism is a special form of the tourism. It’s a newly emergingway of tourism which depends on the natural resources and humanity resourceson the border line of neighboring countries. It is not only an important domestictourism but also the extension of the domestic tourism.To develop the frontier tourism can not only prosper the economy in theborder area and mutual understanding between people of Sino-Vietnam andpeople in GuangXi province, as well as the stability of border. The developmentof the frontier tourism plays an important part in the reform and opening up policyand promote the international cooperation of economy and trade.Guangxi is a province with border area and coastal area, which isexceptionally rich in natural resources. The research shows that the characteristicsof the frontier tourism in Guangxi are as follows: the Original ecologicallandscape, coastal scenery, the rich ethnic customs, the Impeccable militaryfortifications, red revolutionary sites and active border trade of Sino-Vietnamese,which lay the foundation of the development of tourism in Guangxi. However,compared with the other border cities, tourism in Guangxi is still backward.Based on the development of frontier tourism at home and abroad andcombining the resources with the border market of Guangxi, this article is aimedat seeking for a development countermeasure. According to Classification, investigation and evaluation of tourism resources (GT/T18972-2003), the tourismresources in Guangxi are to be sorted by the causes and nature of tourismresources. The article also concludes the features of this area, classifies differenttypes of tourism resources and confirms the corresponding tourism function. Itevaluates the tourism market and predicts the trend of the tourism in border areaby making a questionnaire or interview on tourists. In this article, the writerconcludes the success and failure of the frontier trade tourism enterprisescomprehensively through visiting and interviewing the tourism enterprises. Basedon the features of border trade, ecosystem, history and ethnic customs and underthe guidance of the main theory, three function tourisms are divided, which areorganically linked together and the comprehensive travel zone is formed throughthe roads along the border area. I hope that the above countermeasures of thetourism in the border areas will be helpful for the promotion of the developmentof tourism and can provide a positive reference to the rational development of thetourism in Guangxi as well.
