Research On Enhancing The Value Of The Karst Natural Eco-tourism Landscapes In Sino-vietnamese Border In Guangxi

“The mysterious Sino-Vietnamese border”is the tourism brand of the Sino-Vietnameseborder area in Guangxi. In recent years, it has attracted many tourists. But the development ofthe tourism in this area is relatively slow, it hasn’t taken advantage of the tourism resources. Thekarst landscape there is rich and beautiful, even as beautiful as Guilin’s scenery. Enhancing thevalue of the karst landscape and taking full advantage of the tourism resources there have animportant significance for promoting the development of ecological tourism in the area.Through on-the-spot investigation and data collection, this paper summarizes five kinds ofimportant typical natural eco-tourism landscape types in the area. They are forest and vegetationlandscape, peak cluster landscape, water landscape, karst cave landscape and valley landscape.Constructed the value evaluation model of the karst natural ecological tourism landscape ofthe Sino-Vietnamese border area in Guangxi, determined the weights of evaluation indicators byusing AHP, and established the landscape value assessment system. Graded three typicallandscapes by using the landscape value assessment system and the grading system. And putforward improvement measures for the five kinds of typical landscape types, according to thecharacteristics and assess evaluation of landscapes in the study area. The results were:(1)In the value evaluation model, the aesthetic value is the most important. The ecologicalvalue, the scientific and cultural value, the development value were followed. There weights are0.4351、0.3092、0.1501、0.1056. In the indicator layer, there are18indicators. They are beautifuldegree, natural degree, typical degree, special degree, richness, integrated degree, ecologicalstability, ecological environment capacity, vegetation coverage, air freshness, scientific researchvalue, education value, historical and cultural value, location condition, regional economicfoundation, accessibility, service facilities, operation and management. There weights are0.0637、0.0562、0.0790、0.1531、0.0466、0.0366、0.1308、0.0379、0.0702、0.0792、0.0212、0.0787、0.0501、0.0387、0.0080、0.0201、0.0188、0.0201.(2)The aesthetic value of three typical landscapes is relatively high, but need to be improved.Generally speaking, development value is low, so the development value should be the importantissues of tourism authorities and operators to consider in the future.(3)The value of natural ecological tourism landscape in study area can be improved fromfour aspects of aesthetic value, ecological value, scientific and cultural value, development value,by taking measures like transforming of forest, mining the special landscape, landscape elements,matching optimization viewing perspective, ornamental route optimization, perfect interpretationsystem, refining the geological science, culture mining, lifting accessibility, improve servicefacilities, enhance the management and so on, according to the landscapes characteristics.
