Status And Countermeasures Of Floriculture Industry In Hebei Province Of China

As a sunrise industry in the21st century, flower industry has been developing rapidly in countries allover the world, which has ecological, social and economic benefit. Now Hebei province pays attentionto the development of flower industry, which is under construction as a special industry in the province.As one of the important industries in increasing agricultural profits, flower industry enhances thescientific process of agricultural structure, increases employment opportunities, promotes ruraleconomic development, accelerates the process of modern agriculture and the course of urban and ruralintegration, and thus becomes an important part of construction of new countryside.In order to promote its industrial upgrading and realize its healthy and rapid development, this paperfound out the main factors effecting its flower industry development and pointed out the existingproblems by the investigation, the research and scientific analysis and comparison and theoreticalresearch method, compare and literature review method and a SWOT analysis of existing advantages,disadvantages, opportunities and challenges. On the basis of analyzing the development presentsituation of home and abroad, referring to the success experience of home and abroad, it summarizedthe new characteristics and trend of its development，and found the development opportunities. Thispaper analyzed which advantages Hebei has in the development of flower industry and discussed whichmeasures and development strategies Hebei should take to develop this industry rapidly and healthily.Through the study the conclusions were as follows：I. Flower industry has become the sunrise industry of Hebei Province and the new growth points ofHebei agricultural economy, which has a broad development prospects;II. Although in recent years the flower industry in hebei province has made great progress, comparedwith the foreign countries, it still exists some problems, such as generally unsubstantial Infrastructure,Irrational industrial structure, insufficient power of science and technology, imperfect product qualitystandard system, lacking perfect service support system, not high specialized degree transport processand insufficient overall capacity;III. In order to promote the flower industry in Hebei Province to achieve high-efficiency,environmental, sustainable development，Heibei should exert its advantages and take some effectivemeasures, such as strengthening infrastructure and technology investment, improving science andtechnology support, enhancing the awareness of the flower industry development and perfecting thecirculation system.
