Under The Background Of Economic Integration Across The Taiwan Strait Agriculture Cooperative Research

This paper is study on the cross-strait agricultural cooperation with economicglobalization and regional economic integration background. For the reason of the strictmanagement of the Taiwanese authorities, the cross-strait agricultural cooperation is notsmoothly. First, draw a conclusion from the perspective of political feasibility that theconstruction of the cross-straits common Market is the best way for the cross-straitagricultural cooperation，and mostly analyzing the three aspects of the investment, trade,technology and management. In the investment aspect, the characteristics of related data areanalyzed, then analyze the trade economic effect from investment by time series models, anddraw a conclusion that agricultural investment in mainland has brought about tremendousbenefits of agricultural products trade between Taiwan and Mainland, especially for exports ofagricultural products in Taiwan. As a result, it is necessary to open agriculture capital marketand encourage agriculture investment; In trade aspect, draw a conclusion that agriculturalproducts trade between Taiwan and Mainland are complementary by using the trade conditionindex, the revealed comparative advantage index, and trade specialization coefficient. Intechnology and management aspect, the present situation and features of cross-strait exchangeare analyzed, then conclude that problems in exchange are superficial, unplanned andunidirectional. Third, the motivation and limits in the cross-strait agricultural cooperation areanalyzed. At last, suggestions about the cross-strait agricultural cooperation are put forwardon the basis of the foregoing conclusion.
