New China's Farmland System Research

The land is the basic production factor in the agriculture scarce. Farmlandsystem is the base of Social economic systems and other system in country.Substitution of history and dynasty, rise and fall of social productivity, contactwith it directly or indirectly. Recently, the question of three rural issues always isfocus by society. There are many causes, among which the fundamental isagricultural backward. In order to adapt to the needs of the development ofproductivity, the land system of new China has undergone a series of complexcourses, land reform, mutual aid of primary and then the high-level cooperativesociety, the People’s Commune, household contract responsibility system and soon. The reform and open up not only changes the external environment offarmland system, but also propose urgent requirements of farmland system’sreforms. This paper strives for interpretation of the process of farmland systemsince1949’s, reveals the characters in each time, discusses the system offarmland property right’s status and function in socialist market economy,explores the problems in the adjustment of household contract responsibilitysystem---the current rural land system, advances the direction of the farmlandsystem reform which is “quasi nationalization”.
