The Financial Performance Evaluation Of Listed Electric Power Companies

The electric power indusry is the pillar of our national economy, which is also the pioneer of Chinese economic development. And as the highest level of the electric power industry, the listed electric power companies’performance evaluation studies are always the hot field of social sciences research. With the improvement of Chinese market economy and the further step of state-owned enterprises, the listed electric power companies must do more and do better to fullfill the corresponding requirements.How to improve the efficiency and the quality of performance evaluation, how to provide useful informaion to the enterprise in time, which have became pressing problems.Basing on the deep studying of the exisitng literature of the field, the author make a certain degree analysis about the existing evaluation system of listed electric power companies from the evaluation indicators and the evaluation models respectively, and point out that the evaluation system has problems as follows:the confict between one-dimensional indicator and multi-dimensional indicators, evaluation conclusions can not match up with each other and so on. Also, the author think that the performance evaluation of corporate finance is more suitable for the actual situation of China than the other performance evaluation. To solve problems, the author proposed to build a complete set of financial performance evaluation system to accomplish the evaluation. And then, the author establish the financial performance evaluation system, which has features such as real-time and dynamic, and the system has better effect. Meanwhile, the author ues the double-select to complete the final construction of financial evaluation index. Also the author proposed an mode! named Inductive Evaluation Model to fulfill the practical needs in the system. Finally, the target enterprise’s financial performance has been measured, and corresponding recommnendations have been given.
