General Evaluation On The Quality Of Tourists’ Experiences In The Ancient Cities

Alvin, the future economists had suggested that human being would be entering the new era of experience economy.In21th century,with the development of experience economy,some of the Chinese scholars began the study on tourism experiences.Yanjun Xie thought that tourism study must take the tourism experience as a core.How to evaluate the quality of tourists’ experiences become an important part of tourism experiences research.Since the quality of tourism experiences can not only reflect the performance of the tourism service,attractions and infrastructure,but also make great influence on the sustainable development of a given tourism destination.How to study the quality of tourists’ experiences would be a new topic.Ancient city tourism has become a quite popular product in recent Chinese tourism market.The research on tourists’ experiences quality in ancient city has been more and more important.Taking Fenghuang ancient city as a case, this paper evaluates the tourists’ experiences quality in the ancient city.While more tourists swarm into Fenghuang for its unique natural scenery and ethnic culture. This city changed itself to cater for the number of tourists and their various expectations.Yet the rapid development caused a series of problems:the loss of the traditional cultures, over-commercilized atmosphere of the city and so on.In such a context,this paper study the tourists’experiences quality by combining the qualitative with quantitative methods such as factor analysis,AHP,fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and interviews.On the basis of the analysis,this paper puts forward the measures to futher improve the quality of tourists’ experiences.The paper concludes that the quality of tourism experiences in Fenghuang ancient city is not a good condition with the defect the performance of basic support systems.By exploring the correlation between tourism experience quality and revisit intention, recommendation, this paper reemphasises the importance of study on the quality of tourists’ experiences.Furhter,this paper puts forward the measures to improve the tourists’ experiences quality of the anciety city.This paper is divided into five parts.The first chapter includes introduction, literature review and summary and raising the research quesiton.The second chapter elaborates the related theories and methods.In the third chapter, choosing Fenghuang ancient city as a representative case, the elements of tourists’ experiences are introduced.The fourth chapter analysises the research data,and narrates the general situation of tourists’experience quality and the problems in Fenghuang ancient city.In the last part, after a brief,this paper suggests how to improve the tourists’experiences quality of the ancient city on the aspect of transportation,enviroment,market supervision and service quality of employees and staff.At last,the limitations of the present study and future research direction are discussed.
