Study On "De-localization" Of Ancient City Of Fenghuang In Western Hunan Province

Ancient town tourism has always been a hot spot in the domestic tourism industry.On the one hand,it has promoted the economic development of tourist destinations,but on the other hand,it has also brought about a serious crisis in the development of ancient town tourism.Among them,More and more scholars and society have paid attention to the increasingly prominent contradiction between tourism and localization.Previous studies on locality have shown that while tourism development depends on locality,it has also brought about local dissipation,leading to the trend of placelessness,"de-localization" and "de-localization" of tourist desti nations.The ancient city of Fenghuang has shown an obvious"de-localization" process in the development of tourism,and its dynamic changes in time and space are particularly clear.To this end,this article takes the ancient city of Fenghuang in western Hunan province as a typical case study,and comprehensively applies research methods such as literature research,in-depth interviews,and grounded theory to sys tematically analyze and summarize the characteristics,processes,and causes of the "de-localization" of the ancient city of Fenghuang.It is beneficial to the local development of ancient town tourism.This paper combines case studies and interviews with first-hand data to analyze the "de-localization" of the ancient city of Fenghuang.The analysis results show that:(1)The"de-localization" of the ancient city of Fenghuang is man ifested in three aspects,which are changes in spatial functions.The disappearance of ethnic landscapes and the hybridization of cultural spaces.The ancient city of Fenghuang,which is at different stages of local change,has different"de-localization" characteristics.(2)The "de-localization"of the ancient city of Fenghuang is the result of the combined effect of institutional and economic factors,but the main actors of different factors exist in the process of local change Effect difference.Among them,the institutional factors are mainly the lack of government control,which is derived from the local government' s excessive pursuit of economic de velopment,and the economic factors are mainly reflected in the over-commercialization of the ancient city of FengHuang space,which reflects the government,travel companies and local residents pursuit of business for all.(3)Based on the research and analysis of the "de-localization" of the ancient city of Fenghuang,the author puts forward effective countermeasures for the localization of the ancient city of Fenghuang from three aspects of government regulation,developer planning,and effective guidance of local residents.It is hoped that it can promote the tourism development of the localization of the ancient city of Fenghuang and provide reference for the tourism development of other ancient towns.
