Since human society forwarded into the knowledge economical time with high informatization and new industrialization, new connotation has been attached to economic growth and sustainable development has been brought into many important fields, such as economics, sociology, resource areas and environment development. With the background of economic sustainable development, our paper mainly analyzes the irreplaceable role of human capital in economic sustainable development. Firstly, we will measure and calculate the human capital situation and stock in Shaanxi province, including calculating the human capital gross of practitioners in Shaanxi province by using the method of education and level of education and analyzing the quality of human capital in Shaanxi province according to health stock, education and income and living standards. Secondly, some empirical research will be carried on after building the model of human capital with double element and human capital externality. The direct and indirect contribution of human capital to economic can be striped after comparing both the models. Moreover, the problems in human capital cultivation and use in Shaanxi province will be researched by comparing physical capital and human capital. The necessity and obstacles will be studied when physical capital is replaced by human capital in promoting economic sustainable development process. Finally, some conclusions and suggestions will be proposed aiming at the empirical test results to solve the problems of human capital cultivation and use in the economic sustainable development of Shaanxi province.
