The real estate market has been fluctuating in recent years.The financial crisis from2008to2009, real estate rebound scene, then this country’s macro-control policy has brought severe pressure on the real estate market can be described as ill-fated.Xi’an as the city control the west of second-tier cities in China, more and more concern is gained from many real estate business. However, due to the impact of state regulation, the real estate market’s development in Xi’an is on hold. The W company enter the real estate market of Xi’an in2009. and has got good results. But because of the real estate market’s turmoil and the competition from many local companies and exterior big companies, its development faces severe challenges.How to survive in this environment and seize opportunities to develop and occupy the mar-ket of Xi’an, is the most important problem that the W real estate company should address. In view of this situation, to develop an effective business strategy and implement it to take a root in Xi’an to achieve the overall strategic planning of radiation of the Northwest can not be avoided to solve the problem.This paper uses the PEST method to analyse the Xi’an region and China’s macro-economic environment, housing policy, real estate development, real estate companies within the region. With the characteristics of internal resources of W real estate company, the paper uses SWOT method to analyse the opportunities and threats of W Xi’an real estate company to enter the market and W real estate company’s own advantages and disadvantages comprehensively, forming the SWOT matrix. The development strategy of W real estate company to enter Xi’an market is studied in order to establish a short and long term development strategy for W real estate company in Xi’an. The W company’s development strategy is divided into three stages, and each stage and its strategy are positioned, this paper developed a company’s overall strategy, corporate strategy, competitive strategy, functional strategies. In this paper, the analysis of W real estate company’s strategy for the development also have some reference to similar types of companies.
