There are three kinds of employees at commercial banks; they are manager, sales account manager, and front teller, known as comprehensive bank teller. Front tellers are those who deal with bank accounting, cashing, etc. at "the front line" of a bank. With the development of computer science, they mainly work on TO business service, individual service, bank card and e-bank. They are the image and the basic level and the window of a bank, who deal directly with customers, and provide service to customers, so that their behavior is of great importance to the competition among banks. Therefore, improving the work positivity and efficiency of front tellers, make them supply most qualified and satisfied service to customers, increasing the cohesiveness and the sense of competition of employees, so as to reach the final sales target, maximize the proceed of shareholders and the value of the bank is the starting of this thesis.This thesis is started with the theory and method of the Performance Evaluation System, making use of Balanced Mark Card, which is a main tool of Performance Evaluation System, taking the specialized condition of Bank of Shi Zui Shan into consideration, discussed the optimized design of Performance Evaluation System on front tellers of Bank of Shi Zui Shan. Firstly, this thesis briefly introduced the theory of Performance Evaluation System and the related tools, the Performance Evaluation management as well as the main Performance Evaluation management method of commercial banks. So that it could offer theoretical basis to the method choosing of Performance Evaluation and the design of the evaluation system. Secondly, it analyzed the present condition of Performance Evaluation on the front tellers at Bank of Shi Zui Shan, summarized the main problems that exist in the design of Performance Evaluation. Thirdly, according to the problems that are mentioned above, drawing on the Performance Evaluation of foreign capital commercial banks, it brought up the optimized design to the Performance Evaluation System that applied to the front tellers at Bank of Shi Zui Shan. Lastly, it briefly introduced the implement of the Performance Evaluation System that applied to the front tellers at Bank of Shi Zui Shan. At last, to be used as the basic mode of Performance Evaluation System, the purpose of this thesis is to improve the work positivity and efficiency of the employees, so as to increase the core competition and sustainable development of the bank.
