Thirty years ago, the Chinese textile and clothing industry blended into the tidal current of market economy, which made it become outstanding worldwide and also meet the growing domestic demand and needs of the relative products. In the twenty years from1986to2006, the growth rate of textile and clothing industry has remained at double-digit level. China has become the largest textile-producing and exporting country from late1990s, the volume of exports always ranked the first in the world, which let we witness the speed of China again. However, we should clearly realize that this industry is facing the unprecedented bottleneck now, such as the appreciation of Renminbi, the rising of raw material prices, overproduction, homogeneous competition and high rate of staff turnover, et al. In this paper, taking the FZ Company as the sample, the author investigated and analyzed the employee turnover data, illustrated the main reasons of the problem and came up with effective measures to deal with it.Reasonable employee turnover is conducive to business vitality. However, the continuity of work, performance quality and the stability of the staff will be influenced if the rate is too high. Especially, the employee turnover in key technical position is a major threat to the protection of commercial technology secrets. Besides, the staff may take away some customers and make the enterprise suffer economy lost, which may make against the development potential and the competitiveness of the company.Although different textile and clothing enterprises are under different environments and conditions, and the employee turnover differs from each other, there are some common characters essentially. In this paper, the employee satisfaction in FZ Company was investigated by a job satisfaction questionnaire which was designed based on the theory at home and abroad and the actual situation in this company. The deep-seated reasons of the employee turnover was summarized and demonstrated by analysis of the questionnaire, individual interviews and follow-up survey. Then the solution proposals to improve the employee satisfaction and control the staff turnover were raised from various aspects.Taking the FZ Company as the object of study, the thesis investigated the present situation of the staff turnover, analyzed the reasons and proposed suitable measures to control this phenomenon. This may help the enterprise to improve the employee satisfaction and stimulate their enthusiasm and initiative, and the identity and loyalty of the staff will increase at the same time. By strengthen the internal cohesion and solidarity of the company, the employee will do their best to work better and so it has important practical significance for the improvement of the production efficiency.
