This paper will be based on therelationship between poverty and economic growth and income distribution to analyzethe problem of rural poverty in Yunnan have very important significance.This paper studies the relationship between rural poverty and rural economicgrowth, there are many factors that affect poverty, where economic growth is the mainfactor in poverty reduction, the Yunnan rural poor continued to decline; Second,inequality in income distribution has weakened less the poor results, increase thenumber of rural poor in Yunnan.This paper adopts the packet data of the Statistical Yearbook of Yunnan Provincein the income of rural residents, by means of POVCAL software to calculate theLorenz curve of GQ model or the Beta model, to analyze the relationship betweeneconomic growth and income distribution, and on this basis, confirmed the previoustheoretical assumptions, Yunnan rural economic growth and rural poverty in Yunnannegative correlation, while income inequality and rural poverty is a positivecorrelation. At the same time, the estimated time of rural areas of Yunnan Provinceout of poverty, come to the inequality of income distribution and poverty, between theinner mechanism of mutually reinforcing, the greater the degree of inequality, povertyalleviation the longer, and vice versa. However, even if income distribution remainsunchanged, economic growth on poverty reduction is decreasing, the actual situation in Yunnan Province also verify the conclusion, that people might think that theincidence of poverty will decline with the rise of per capita income, but the marginalpoverty reduction effect of income growth will decline.
