| In the enterprises which operate multi-projects, multi-project management environment and the problems which it faced by has undergone a fundamental change. There is difference between the projects, but also exists so much similarities. The traditional way of planning and scheduling and the allocation of resources that is on the base of WBS customized respectively restrict the development of enterprise. How to effectively create work breakdown structure is becoming the key. What is more the top-down method, bottom-up method, WBS standard method and WBS formwork all cannot generate fast WBS recently. Therefore, this paper takes the multi-project operation environment as the background, based on the Group Technology, researched the project families’work breakdown structure and its configuration problems thoroughly, which attempted to make contributions to enterprises’practice and the research of multi-projects management.Firstly, this paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of several traditional methods which to create WBS. All kinds of various projects’work breakdown structure were studied comparatively. According to the similarity between projects under the same enterprise, the concepts that project family and project family’s work breakdown structure were put forward. Upon these, using the group technique, with the WBS elements’conflation, standardization, and the WBS dictionary’s attributed, project family’s work breakdown structure-Group Work Breakdown Structure was constructed. Then the paper expounds the representation method of the each element of the Group Work Breakdown Structure.In the next place, on the basis of group work breakdown structure, using variable configuration technology, WBS configuration model was established, which contains group work breakdown structure (GWBS), options and constraint relation. Then the paper expounds the config variables and various constraint rules. In this part, configuration rule library was established with the production rule, and the reasoning solution flow and the algorithm of the WBS configuration model were put forward.Lastly, in the fifth chapter, the procedure combined with idiographic experiment was compiled with the delphi7language, a configuration interface was structured. After the legitimate configuration conditions were inputted, the corresponding configuration results that the WBS tree structure and the WBS dictionary would be obtained. The simulation results show that the method, proposed in this paper, which base on the group work breakdown structure can generate the specific project’s WBS quickly and scientifically. |
