The Interactive Mechanism And Harmony Research Between Urbanization And Industrialization Of Chang-ZhuTan Urban Cluster

Urbanization and industrialization are two interactive important systems in the development of economics and society. Industrialization is the connotation of the Urbanization. Urbanization is the space forms of the industrialization. The development and positive interaction of Industrialization and urbanization will play a significant role in promoting sustainable development in economy. A large number of research on China’s industrialization and urbanization indicates that urbanization lags behind industrialization. The thing that urbanization lags behind Industrialization s has led to serious gaps between urban and rural areas in our country and the consequent series of social problems. The coordinated development of the Industrialization and urbanization in China has become the focus of academic and administrative departments of all levels of governments. Report of the Seventeenth Party Congress pointed out that it must depend on large cities and form large urban agglomerations with large radiated role to promote the coordinated development of medium cities and small towns when we walk the road of urbanization with Chinese characteristics. As a result this article objects to which is a representative group in Central Region to research the relationship between urbanization and industrialization,.This article reviews the development process of Chang—Zhu. Tan urban cluster sums up the development status of the group in urbanization and industrialization and measures the deviation of urbanization and industrialization with Standards of Chenery/NU and IU. Comparative analysis has shown that overall urbanization lags behind industrialization to Chang—Zhu. Tan urban cluster from1998to2009, but the lagged trend is slowing down continuously. Furthermore, this article describes the interaction mechanism between urbanization and industrialization, establishes comprehensive evaluation index system of urbanization and industrialization and researches the impact of urbanization and industrialization with Stepwise regression method and thus indicates the interacted mechanism of urbanization and industrialization. Analysis showed that the urbanization and industrialization affect and interact each other. Again based on the last chapter established index system of urbanization and industrialization the article receives the composite scores of three cities and urban agglomeration between urbanization and industrialization and then measures the coupling index, effective index and the harmony index of urbanization and industrialization. The research indicates that the coupling index of Chang—Zhu. Tan gradually increases and it belongs to trending coupling. The coupling index differences in three cities within urban cluster and the changes in, but the overall trend is rising; the index of urban agglomeration is very high, most of years have been effective, declining in individual years, overall Harmonious index has gradually increased, relatively the highest of Changsha, Zhuzhou followed and the lowest of Xiangtan. These indicate that urban cluster is gradually been into the harmonious and orderly state of development in urbanization and industrialization.
