A Study Of The Development Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Guangxi Fisheries

Under the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone strategy which was officially put forward by China, fisheries in Guangxi has played a more and more important role in improving economic development in Guangxi, creating more job opportunities, increasing financial revenue and accelerating industrial restructuring. However, because of the small scale in its initial stage, the enormous operational risk, the low level of management and the low creditworthiness, it is difficult for fisheries in Guangxi to obtain sufficient support in its development. We should change the difficulties into driving force for the development of Guangxi fisheries. In fact, promoting the economic development of fisheries is bound up with the relationship between history and reality, home and abroad, fisheries and non-fisheries and economy and society.Base on economic theory, combining historical analysis and logical analysis, theoretical analysis and empirical analysis and employing extensively multi-disciplinary knowledge of economics, management science, statistics, law, fisheries economics and others, this paper gives an empirical analysis for the reason why fisheries in Guangxi developed slowly and probes into the future development of Guangxi fisheries based on the current situation.This paper consists of five parts:the first part is introduction which points out the background, the purpose, the meanings, the contents, the innovative viewpoint and fisheries development home and abroad. Then according to the relevant theory overview, it analyzes the theoretical roots of the problems in Guangxi fisheries. The second part analyzes the problems in Guangxi fisheries development based on the current situation and gives an empirical analysis for the relevant factors which influence the fisheries in Guangxi to find out the interrelationship in industrial cooperation development. The third part points put the inspiration from domestic and international experience of fisheries development. The fourth part summarizes the development of Guangxi fisheries and puts forward the countermeasures for the industrial development of Guangxi fisheries. People should bring the region advantage and policy guide into play, increase financial support and foundation supporting facilities, strengthen the protection and management of fisheries resource, pay more attention to industrial restructuring and optimizing, perfect fisheries market system and market operation, take fisheries product quality and brand establishment seriously and make the complete cooperation and communication with ASEAN. The last part gives a conclusion that the rapid development of fisheries is bound up with various factors and supports.
