Sugarcane Production Present Situation Survey And Research In Boxuan Sugarcane Area In Laibin,Guangxi

Sugarcane production experience from 2011/2012 to 2013/2014 marketing years would increase in a row in Guangxi. Planting area has fallen sharply since 2013/2014 marketing year. All yields of sugarcane and sugar production has fallen sharply since 2014/2015 marketing year. Sugar is the foundation of security in our country is a serious threat.To find out the reasons that the Guangxi sugar production decline, this study from Guangxi sugarcane production base county is a typical region of Boxuan sugarcane area field research in Wuxuan,Laibin. On the basis of obtained relatively rich first-hand informations and through the analysis and comparison,this study think in recent three years Boxuan area and even in Guangxi sugarcane area decreased dramatically for the reasons:1. Sugarcane purchase price drop in a row, sugarcane prices low to the edge of the farmers is unacceptable.2. Labor is a severe lack of sugarcane area, sugarcane production labor cost is rising. Sugarcane production to the low degree of mechanization, intensified the contradiction of labor shortage, but also indirectly raised the cost of production of sugar cane.3. Sugarcane yield is low, low comparative benefit of planting sugar cane and other high-yielding crops or low input a large number of preemption sugarcane area.4. A large number of migrant workers in young adults, ageing labor force is serious in sugarcane area, unbearable sugarcane production in some part of high labor intensity.5. Influenced by international and domestic prices continued to fall, to sugar cane sugar refineryeach kind of sugarcane weakened support, support way is not reasonable.In view of the current problems of sugarcane production, according to the research in the process of sugar cane and enterprises put forward reasonable Suggestions, combined with domestic and foreign advanced experience, this study put forward restore Wuxuan sugarcane area and even in Guangxi some measures of sugarcane planting area:1. Appropriate increase sugarcane purchase price of raw materials, the enterprises for the remainder of all commitments.2. To form a sugar cane production service organizations to develop mechanization and solve the problem of lack of labor.3. Publicity of cane sugar industry development prospects, recasting to sugar cane confidence.4. Guide the sugar cane to adjust the planting structure, restrain the expansion of the eucalyptus trees and fruit trees.5. Continue to adhere to sugarcane supporting policies, reform the support form, in order to solve money problem to sugar.6. Strengthen the technical training and increase the support of new technology, improve sugarcane yield, enhance the competitiveness of the sugarcane planting.If the government and the enterprise can be devoted to develop the mechanization of sugarcane production overall process, reducing the labor input, and by guiding the sugarcane planting scientific management, increase the sugarcane yield and confidence will help pick up the grower of sugarcane, sugarcane planting area, total output of raw cane and sugar yield is expected to be back in 1 to 2 years or even more than the original level.
