Research On The Risk Management Of Thermal Power Project

Along with the adjustment of electric power industry structure in China, thermal power enterprise has been faced with a new production management environment. According to the change of market conditions, thermal power enterprises adjust the development strategy, and change management mechanism. And thermal power enterprises also implement low cost strategy, and make the best of the capital operation, cost control and asset value strategy. This became the foundation of thermal power enterprise. The change of market environment will bring risks to the enterprise, and enterprises should improve their risk prevention ability. Without mining risk, avoiding risk and controlling the ability of the risk, there can be no profit ability, and even prevent the development of the enterprise. In contemporary power market environment, both power generation enterprise and grid enterprise must analyze the risk. Especially thermal power enterprise, it should pay more attention to the risk factors, especially the production and business operation risk. Thermal power enterprise should distinguishing, evaluating and controlling the risk during production and business operation. This has very important significance for stability of production and operation, and development of the thermal power enterprise.Based on the current development situation of thermal power enterprise, and the research results on thermal power project risk management at home and abroad, this paper analyze the thermal power project risk management characteristics deeply. Firstly, this paper overviewed the development situation of thermal power project. Secondly, this paper analyzed the environment of thermal power project, and found the risk source of thermal power project. Then, we made risk identification analysis and proposed risk assessment indexes from technology, market, economy and management aspect. This paper uses hierarchical analysis method to evaluate indexes with Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). This analysis and evaluation contribute to the main risk management factors of thermal power enterprise. This paper can provide certain reference basis for the risk management of thermal power enterprise.
