Excellent electric energy quality is the necessary foundation and important guarantee for safe and economic operation of electrical equipment of power system and power users. With the rapid development of the economy and power grid construction level, various industries’growing demand for electricity on the electric energy quality requirements are also gradually increasing, and more functional of the electric energy quality compensator devices are needed, as the old electric energy quality compensator devices with single function have been unable to meet the requirements of modern power management. The reconstruction engineering project of the electric energy quality synchronous compensator devices is needed to meet the requirement of national, social, power companies and customer. However, establishing a scientific and reasonable post evaluation system is imperative, while large-scale investment on electric energy quality compensator devices brings about some huge challenge on the evaluation and mangement of reconstruction project.Firstly, the current common electric energy quality problems are analyzed and introuduced, and the necessity and urgency of strengthening management for the electric energy quality synchronous compensator devices reconstruction project are demonstrated. Secondly, a suit of indicator system about the post evaluation for the electric energy quality synchronous compensator devices reconstruction project is established based on methods and theoretics of post evaluation, and index weights which are given through AHP method and entropy method. At last, taking five different areas of Huairou district as the research object, the theory of grey relation degree is applied in the post evaluation of electric energy quality synchronous compensator devices reconstruction project, and implementation results of the electric energy quality synchronous compensator devices reconstruction projects are estimated synthetically according to the grey relation degree.Researching and exploring the post evaluation of electric energy quality synchronous compensator devices reconstruction projects can provide decision-making support for the decision makers scientifically and canonically. However there are many deficiencies, such as the index system and theory method, which indeed still need further study, in order to provide the necessary investment decision support for the follow-up projects.
