The Problem And Countermeasures Of Industry Associations In China

With the trend of economic globalization, and China’s accession to the WTO, domestic and international market competition becomes even severe. A large number of associations emerge as the time goes and are widely distributed in various sectors of the economy. Industry associations play an important role in the development of our socialist market economy, in normalizing market behavior, in the transformation of government functions, and in resolving trade disputes. At present, trade association is urgently needed in the social economic development which is a non-governmental organization. The function of trade associations in the community has been widely recognized and concerned. The industry association of our country has entered a period of rapid development, facing rare development and opportunity. But its overall quality is also very weak, legal regulations and system construction lags behind its development, affecting its function. Especially in underdeveloped areas, its development is obviously insufficient, and can’t give full play to its function. In addition, new industries, such as the property management industry, whose association is even insufficient, and its due effect cannot be fulfilled. Combining with the practical work, this paper comprehensively states China’s industry association’s development, characteristics, current situation, existing problems, and taking the property management industry as an example, and also presents their due function.Firstly, this paper elaborates on non-governmental organizations, trade associations and other relevant concepts; and briefly introduces its significance, research methods, main ideas and the framework of this paper; and then reviews the related research home and abroad; then analysis the domestic present situation of Trade Association and summarizes existing problems. Subsequently, taking the property management industry association as an example, this paper puts forward our country’s industry association’s deserved function and position.
