Research On Synergetic Development Between Manufacturing And The Third-party Logistics Industry In The Linkage Process

As the national leading industry and pillar industry, the development and expansion of the manufacturing industry urgently needs support from the third-party logistics industry. Being able to enhance its own core competitiveness and reduce its operating costs, logistics outsourcing of the non-core business within the manufacturing, is becoming an important tendency of manufacturing development. However, as a producer services industry, the development of the third-party logistics industry, in large part relies on the release of the manufacturing logistics demand. Therefore, manufacturing is the demanding base of TPL development, and TPL in return is an important means to enhance the core competitiveness of manufacturing enterprises. Only with effective interaction and synergetic development, can manufacturing and TPL industry realize a win-win situation. Thus, the research on the synergetic development problems in the linkage process between manufacturing and the third-party logistics industry has theoretical and practical significance.Based on the research studies of a large number of domestic and foreign literatures, materials and existing research results, the thesis decides the synergistic system of manufacturing and the TPL industry as the research object, the joint and synergetic development as the research goal, the industrial linkage and synergetics as the theoretical foundation, the evaluation model of the system synergy degree as the research method, with the combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches to address the synergetic development problems in the linkage process between manufacturing and the TPL industry.The thesis firstly analyzes the present situation of synergetic development between manufacturing and the TPL industry, and then it discusses the synergistic and symbiotic relationship, information synergy and financial synergy problems in the linkage process, besides, it establishes the order parameter indicator system and the evaluation model of the synergy degree of the linkage system of manufacturing and the third-party logistics industry. Based on the above-mentioned research studies, the thesis further collects indicator data in the development process of manufacturing and the TPL industry from2005to2010, and then it quantitatively evaluates and empirically analyses the level of synergetic development at the present stage with the evaluation model, at the end of the thesis it puts forward countermeasures and suggestions on promoting further synergetic development between manufacturing and the third-party logistics industry.
