Research On The Model Of Synergetic Development Of Logistics Industry And Manufacturing Industry In China

The flare-up and overspreading of the global financial crisis has had serious and unprecedented impact on manufacturing industry, logistics industry and all other real economy in China. In 2009, the State Council of China promulgated a plan of boosting our country's logistics industry to achieve stable and rapid development of the logistics industry and make logistics market recover. Besides, as one of nine key projects for revitalizing logistics industry, synergetic development between logistics industry and manufacturing industry was identified. Under this win-to-win idea, the relationship between logistics industry and manufacturing industry will be changed in future. And, the cross-industry synergetic development will flourish between two industries, which is a special mode of synergetic development.Therefore, the author presented the main issues to be studied by researching the results from so many related experts and scholars. Also, based on the logistics strategic management theory, industrial synergetic development theory and the synergy theory, background, as well as two industry's current internal and external environment, the factors of necessity and constraints were studied in this paper. And four main Synergetic modes between was two industries: (1) logistics outsourcing mode based on no integration of resources; (2) logistics outsourcing mode based on integration of resources; (3) logistics outsourcing mode based on 3PL- HUB; (4) strategic alliance mode. Finally, based on research results about Set Pairs, Relation and Set Pair Situation from related experts and scholars, the author set up a SPA model about synergetic development and list the specific steps for solving it. And then, four main countermeasures were proposed in the following: (1) establishing regulatory mechanisms of mutual trust; (2) sharing the information and using the same standards between logistics industry and manufacturing industry; (3) the government playing a role; (4) strengthening the training for logistics personnel.To sum up, this research will play important theoretical and practical role on enhancing the core competitiveness of the two industries, promoting the organic integration of modern manufacturing and logistics industry, synergetic development and responsing the post-financial-crisis era successfully.
