Studies On Optimization Of China’s Agricultural Products Logistics System

China is a large agricultural country with agriculture as the basic industry of the nationaleconomy, the sustainable and sound development of agriculture and rural economy are twomainly issues on overall national economy. Recent years, as the rapid development of ruraleconomy and the smooth progress of the new rural construction, the yield and income offamers have been effectively improved. However, generally speaking, most of the famers stillhave financial difficulties and the urban-rural gap has not yet fundamentally changed. We cansee many problems contribute to the situation we have now, one of them is the poorcirculation of agricultural products, which is further shown as the low efficiency, high costand useless loss of the circulation of agricultural products. Further still the development oflogistics for agricultural products is the key factor that affects the circulation of agriculturalproducts. Therefore, in order to the address the contradiction between big market and small-scale production, increase famers’ income as well as promote the construction of new socialistcountryside, it is critical to pay attention to the development of modern logistics ofagricultural products.Based on the background and premise above, we put forward some methods for thedevelopment of agricultural logistics, by depending on the theory of modern logistics,following the theory with practical principles on the basis of review of domestic and foreignagricultural products logistics research, combining with the logistics characteristics ofagricultural products and Chinese actual situation.This article includes two parts which are introduction and body. In introduction part, welead to the problem of this study, the background, meaning and motivation of the constructionof China’s agricultural product logistics system, furthermore the related research trends athome and abroad, research framework and content of this article and finally methodology andpossible innovations of this thesis by quoting two news in the beginning.Body part starts from stating the concepts and theories of logistics of agriculturalproducts and meanwhile interpreting some theoretical basis on the development and systemassumption of Chinese agricultural product logistics. Furthermore, by combining thecharacteristics of the logistics of agricultural products, we analysis the development status ofChinese agricultural product logistics system and then summarized up the main problems inthe development process of Chinese agricultural product logistics. Further still, we studiedand mentioned the current development status of foreign agricultural products logistics so asto provide us some experience like attaching more importance to develop agricultural products logistics infrastructure, the application of agricultural logistics technology and alsotraining of agricultural products logistics personnel, at the same time of emphasizing thedevelopment of the third-party logistics. In the end, some suggestions were made as toaddress the issues related to our agricultural product logistics system. They are: Governmentshould strengthen macro-control functions to increase the financial and legal support for thedevelopment of agricultural product logistics system; enhancing the main building’construction of agricultural product logistics and the role of industry organizations thatcoordinate and advance the development.
