This problem has been the concern of the countries in the world, China is no exception. Government and academia have been working to study and explore solutions to the problem and measures in the past two decades. The positive development of the aging industry is undoubtedly an important way to solve the aging problem across the board. In1997, the concept of the aging industry was put forward on the first aging industry forum. Now our country has made considerable progress on the theoretical study of the aging industry.In1993Wuhan began to become the aging city, the aging problem is very serious, developing aging industry is urgent. The paper based on the context of the aging population, as the theoretical basis to study at home and abroad. Firstly the paper defined the concept and connotation of the aging industry, and analyzed the status of the elderly population and the aging industry development status in Wuhan. Then the "Diamond model" of Michael Porter was applied to the study of the Wuhan aging industry development, This paper analyzed affecting factors of the aging industry in Wuhan from the following six areas: the factors of production, demand conditions, related and support the industry’s performance, corporate structure, strategic competitors, as well as opportunities and the role of the government. The analysis shows that aging industry of Wuhan is still in "infancy", and the overall level of the industry is lower, isn’t yet formed the certain scale. But Wuhan focused on the development of the elderly services industry, and it has made many achievements, the elderly service to the community process is markedly accelerated. In order to promote the development of aging industry in Wuhan, the paper combines with the advantage of Wuhan circle system, and raised the path of development to improve the aging industrial of Wuhan, such as increasing the support of government to the aging industry and improve the support of the industries.
