The Study On Quality Of Life Of Small Coastal Town Residents In Qingdao

“People-oriented" theory requires the modernization of China to put social progressand all-round development of human as the ultimate goal of social development.All-round development of human can not do without the improvement of the qualityof life. Therefore, the improvement of the quality of life is the important part andfocus of the reality to achieve the ultimate goal. At this stage, in the process ofpromoting the urbanization, to improve the quality of life of urban residents and toshorten the gap between the quality of life of urban residents becomes one of theobjectives of urban construction. Thus, knowing the current development of the lifequality of urban residents, the influence factors, and regional differences plays animportant role in promoting the quality of life of residents. Qingdao is a typical city incoastal areas, and then the quality of life of urban residents in Qingdao becomes thefocus of this research.The research thought of the paper is, based on absorbing and learning from theresults of previous studies on the living quality, to establish the evaluation indexsystem of quality of life. Based on specific indicators, the paper does a questionnairesurvey about quality of life of small town dwellers’ in Jiaonan and Jimo of Qingdao,and applies the principles and methods of sociology to analyze the subjective andobjective quality of life for residents of coastal towns. The methods includedescriptive statistics, mean value analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysisand factor analysis.The main studies and conclusions are as follows:The first part, firstly describes the background, purpose and significance of thearticle, and analyzes from the macro perspective of development and residents’ life;secondly, starting from the perspective of sociology, the paper analyzes previousresearches; finally, according to the purpose of the study, combined with the results ofprevious studies, the paper proposes the research design, including hypotheses, research methods and indicators, then the paper does the test of the reliability andvalidity about the questionnaire.The second part analyzes the quality of life of three town residents in Qingdao.Based on field surveys, the paper analyzed the situation of subjective and objectivequality of life of residents in Lingshanwei, Aoshanwei and Wenquanzhen. Theanalyses start from the work, the material living conditions and consumption, bothwithin and outside relations of families, houses and living environment, health andmedical care, leisure life, general evaluation of living conditions, and so on.The third part studies on influencing factors of quality of life of three townresidents in Qingdao. Based on field surveys, the paper analyzes and measures theinfluencing factors of quality of life of Lingshanwei, Aoshanwei and Wenquanzhenresidents based on correlate analysis. The analyses start from the variables ofpopulation statistics and subjective evaluation. The variables of population statisticsinclude gender, age, education level, marital status, etc. The variables of subjectiveevaluation include health condition, mental condition, marriage condition, materialliving conditions, housing status, employment status, leisure living conditions, etc.The fourth part studies the factor analysis of quality of life of three town residentsin Qingdao. The paper uses factor analysis to optimize the quality of life indicators,and thus compares the subjective quality of life of residents in the different towns ofdifferent regions and the same region. The study finds that the subjective evaluation ofthe quality of life of Jimo residents is higher than the Jiaonan region, and thesubjective evaluation of the quality of life of Aoshanwei inhabitants is higher thanWenquan inhabitants.The fifth part, based on the former analysis, the paper comes to a brief conclusion,at the same time, starting from regional economic, consumer, infrastructure, culturaldevelopment and regional coordination, the paper makes a few proposals to improvethe quality of life of residents of small towns.
