| As a new profit source,"Third-party logistics" is attracting widespread concern and attention currently. Many domestic enterprises have joined in the industry. At the same time, China’s logistics market has attracted many foreign logistics enterprises to invest and create outlets because of its great potential and broad development space. It is no doubt that this brings great challenges to the domestic logistics enterprises as foreign logistics enterprises have a sound system, an excellent team, high-quality service and worldwide shops. In contrast, most of the domestic logistics enterprises are small-sized or medium-sized private enterprises, which are lack of adequate financial support and a sound management system. Thus, they are at a competitive disadvantage in general. Therefore, reducing logistics costs and improving the performance of third-party logistics have become the common goal for logistics enterprises. The agility of logistics is an important way to achieve this goal.To help the domestic third-party logistics to be agile, this thesis has done in-depth analysis and research in the performance evaluation of third-party logistics companies from the perspective of agility. Firstly, I read many relevant literatures and analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of existing researches, and found the starting point of the research on this basis. Secondly, I learned the basic idea of the Balanced Score Card and built a logistics performance evaluation system respectively from the aspect of finance, customer, internal business processes, and learning and growth. After the overall analysis of performance evaluation methods, I used AHP to determine the index weight, and chose the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method as the evaluation method. Finally,I evaluated the performance of China Postal Express&Logistics Company to prove the usefulness of this evaluation system and gave some suggestions for improvement. The thesis has proposed an agile-based third-party logistics performance evaluation system. Different from previous studies, it places more emphasis on logistics efficiency and quality of service, which is good for the performance improvement of third-party logistics enterprises. |
