A Research On The Industry Development In The Process Of Integration Of Urban And Rural Areas Of Chengdu

China’s economic development is facing a problem that rural economy is relatively better than urban economy. In this context, the central government of China put forward the development idea and strategic thinking about the development of urban and rural economic. The difference between China’s vast rural areas with the developed urban areas is due to the industrial development in both areas are ultimately different.Based on these observations, this paper presented the main question in the first part:what is the fundamental driving force to promote the urban-rural integration and how to effectively increase the driving force to accelerate the integration of urban and rural areas? Industrial development is one of the main driving force of the integration development of urban and rural. Industrial development not only can promote the local economic development but also has a positive role in promoting regional system adjustment. In the current economic conditions, the strategic of industry transfer is workable in order to increase the driving force of integration development of urban and rural.In order to have a further study about this issue, the paper reviewed and analyzed the predecessors’ research about urban and rural integration in the second part. Studies suggest that the effects of the industrial development promote the integration of urban and rural areas include:1, the absorption of labor,2, the effect of industrial development to urbanization,3, driving effect associated with industrial development,4, system innovation effect.In the third part, the thesis has researched the urbanization of Chengdu and industrial development status. The level of the urbanization of Chengdu is in a rapid development stage. In order to promote the integration of urban and rural areas of Chengdu, the paper talked about some problems in the process of the urbanization of Chengdu in the fourth part. And put forward some strategies about how to solve these problems in the next part. Finally, the paper concluded that the industrial development in Chengdu has accelerated the process of urbanization of Chengdu. However, the integration process of the Urban and Rural still face many questions that only can be sloved by the industrial development.The main contribution of the article:firstly, industrial development is an important driving force to promote the integration of urban and rural. Secondly, the paper put forward some strategies to promote the integration of urban and rural areas of Chengdu.
