Since the70s of the20th century, the prosperity and development of industrial economy, the rapid progress of high-tech, what followed by is the destruction of the ecological environment, infringed employee rights,and threaten to the health of consumers. The greed pursuit of their own economic interests erode the corporate sense of responsibility to the community. In China, the phenomenon of lack of corporate social responsibility is especially serious, such as enterprise malicious overdue wages, mining accidents frequently occur, the milk scandal, a listed company fraud, illegal discharge of industrial waste and so on. This is not only the gradual widening of the Chinese enterprises and enterprises in developed countries in the development prospects and business philosophy, and many gaps, or even result in China’s foreign trade barriers, it also brought a lot to our social problems, affecting Social stability and people live, work and constitutes a threat to build a harmonious society. The whole society can not help but lead to corporate social responsibility thinking:in the end is what caused these events? Enterprises in the pursuit of their own economic benefit, whether have thought of their actions may bring what implications to the consumer’s benefit? Whether the enterprise spirit of "people oriented " business activities for production purposes? So this view, study of corporate social responsibility based on China’s national conditions and reality is of great significance.Food to safety first. The reason why this study selected a sample of food production companies, is that China’s current food security situation is worrying. With The rapid development of China’s national economy and the significant elevation of people’s living standard,food as a major protagonist of people’s lives, food’s safety and health is attracting more and more attention by consumers. Consumers began by "full" and then concern "enjoy", but now concerned about eating healthy nutrition. However, the security status of the food industry in China is not optimistic. Every year a large number of incidents of food poisoning and consumer complaints, making people in the selection of food there are various concerns. Especially in the toxic milk powder incident, the Chinese consumers on the food industry have a certain level of trust crisis. So,enterprises not only need to operate under legally binding mechanisms, but also need to be based on social and ethical point of view of long-term interests of the whole society into business decision-making. Based on this political, social and economic background, this paper argues the need for food production and processing enterprises to make a study of social responsibility.Based on the domestic and foreign-related corporate social responsibility review and sum up the theory, focusing on stakeholder theory, using Eviews software, the conclusions are:food production business taking on social responsibility has a positive Impact on company performance. food production enterprises were the main stakeholders:consumers, employees, suppliers and creditors; food production business performance will be significantly influenced the scale of enterprises.
