Research For Energy Service Company Financing In China

As the energy and emission reduction getting more and more focus in China, energyconservation is showing its great potential as a strategic rising industry and becoming anew growing point. An industrial chain is forming and will promoting other industries aswell. At the same time, Difficulty in financing has become a bottleneck for thedevelopment of Chinese energy conversation enterprises.In this paper, the writer makes a systematic illustration of the difficulties and variousoptions and recommendations on financing for energy conservation serviceenterprises.There are five chapters in this paper. In the first chapter, the writer introducesthe background and value of this study and also introduces relevant international andnational study results and the structure of this paper. The second chapter focuses on energyconservation service industry itself, including the concept, development and operationalmechanism. Through the third chapter, the writer analyzes the opportunity and challenge ofChinese energy conservation service enterprises, including analysis on developmentpotential, such as objective analysis, feasibility analysis, development analysis and theindustrial development in Beijing. Among the barriers, focuses are located on financing,the core problem preventing the enterprises’ development. Meanwhile this chapter alsoindicates other barriers such as evaluation verification, government support andundeveloped legal system. In the last part of the paper, the writer summarizes and raisesrecommendation on financing mode suitable for Chinese energy conservation serviceenterprises at the current stage. The writer also demonstrates the two suitable financingmodes: factoring financing and financing lease. The purpose of this paper is to providevaluable recommendations on financing for energy conservation service enterprises,especially medium-small sized ones based on summarization of international study andpractices while considering the present status and problems of Chinese energy conservationindustry and energy conservation service enterprises.
