Research On The Evaluation Of Regional Leading Industries Based On Path Dependency Theory

Regional leading industries are the main manifestation of the regionaleconomy with local characteristics, the core of the regional industrial structure. Aregional economic coordinated development, depending on the region’s industrialstructure is reasonable. The key of construct reasonable industrial structure is thecorrect choice and the cultivation of regional leading industries. Thus, the correctchoice and reasonable cultivation leading industry, is directly related to the overalldevelopment direction and pace of the regional economy.This article evaluates the regional leading industry of development from theperspective of path dependence, and does empirical research on leading industriesof Anhui Province. The article first start from the concept of regional leadingindustries and path dependence, described the theoretical basis andpractical study of this stage of regional leading industry, path dependence theoryand applications, provide a theoretical foundation for the path dependence ofanalysis regional leading industries development. Then analysis the factors thataffect the regional leading industries to choose, use the theoretical tools to filter outthe main factors, systematic analysis of the main factors of path dependencecharacteristics, evaluation and analysis of regional leading industries combinedwith the path dependency theory. On the basis of clear evaluation of the object andbenchmarks, building evaluation index system departure from the influencingfactors, using the entropy method to build the evaluation model of this article.Finally, empirical analysis the leading industry of Anhui Province, proposedmeasures for the development of leading industries in Anhui Province based onpath dependency theory.
