In today’s world, international trade is about more than half occurred in the developedcountries, trade between these countries is about more than60%of intra-industry trade. Since1990s, with the continuous improvement of the level of the economies of developingcountries and opening up, the intra-industry trade in the developing world has made greatprogress, which has more than inter-industry trade in some countries the pace of developmentof intra-industry trade. China established diplomatic relations with Germany later in England,France, but the Sino-German economic, investment, trade and scientific and technologicalcooperation are ranked the forefront of European countries. In1975, Germany’s the largesttrading partner in Europe, as China has been going on for over30years. In2002China hasreplaced Japan to become Germany’s second largest export market in the world, and theSino-German trade volume accounted for China and the EU total trade accounted for morethan40%. Sino-German trade volume accounted for the proportion of China-EU trade in2003reached nearly50%of the sum of Chinese trade with France, Britain, Italy, can be seen,with bilateral trade volume of China and Germany increasingly the greater the developmentof Sino-German trade, stability and development of China-EU economic and trade relationsplays a vital role, so the imperative to trade within the manufacturing industry in China andGermany.In combination with international trade theory, econometric theory and the classicaltheory of intra-industry trade, the method of combining theoretical analysis and empiricalanalysis, the measure and the measurement of intra-industry trade index, Sino-Germanmanufacturing industry trade the current situation of quantitative empirical analysis on the2001-2010Sino-German bilateral trade and the use of the GL index model to clarify thedevelopment trends and characteristics of trade within the manufacturing industry betweenChina and Germany, and the regression analysis model to explore the impact of the Sino-German manufacturing industry trade factors. The results show that, SITC5, SITC6,SITC7, SI’TC8the main form of these four categories of manufactured goods trade isintra-industry trade, and the Sino-German bilateral trade showing the trend of the shift fromlabor-intensive to capital-intensive. Obtained by analyzing the size of the market in Chinaand the German direct investment in China is the main factor to affect the Sino-German tradein manufactures industrial, but not the same level of trade in different types of manufacturedgoods within the industry. For trade within the manufacturing industry between China andGermany are given in the future to deal with thinking and suggestions, so as to achieve thegoal of the theory and practice.The innovation of this research in three aspects:the first is the research point of view ofinnovation. Different from the traditional point of view, this article tries to basis on thecurrent situation and development prospects of the Sino-German industry trade, and selectedmanufacturing industry representative discussed more guidance for the development ofbilateral trade and strategy selection significance. The second is the innovative research ideas.A comprehensive discussion of the trends and characteristics of the development of tradewithin the manufacturing industry between China and Germany in the trade status quo, theuse of the GL index measure; described in terms of influencing factors, both from aqualitative point of view, but also the use of multivariate regression model quantitativeanalysis, allowing researchers to more objective and comprehensive. Research methodsattempt to fully integrate the advantages of international economics and econometrics, acomprehensive analysis of the problem, a variety of analytical tools complement each other,each other, trying to avoid the defects of one-sidedness of the analysis of single analyticaltools alone, thus papers trusted enhanced.
