Farmers’ concurrent business behavior has become the most prominent of China’s rural socialand economic phenomenon. In recent years, although China’s economy is in the state of high-speeddevelopment, however, the agricultural GDP share growth is slowly, rural surplus labor increased.The development of secondary and tertiary industries provides an effective way for farmers’concurrent business behavior. Research on the issue of farmers’ concurrent business behavior canpromote the development of rural non-farm industries, and it can in favor of the rural economicdevelopment and social stability, improve farmers’ income, further more, it also can improve ruralliving conditions and the current cultural situation, which is has significance in the policy-making.Compared to the level of national average, farmers’ income and the level of famers’ concurrentbusiness is relatively higher in Qingdao, part-time income has become the main part of the farmers’income. In this paper, we taking the Qingdao sampling farmers as the research object, Analysis thefarmers’ internal factors that influence on farmers’ concurrent business behavior, enrich the relatedtheory as the same as provide the theory basis and suggestion for government policy-making. Weare in the construction of “New socialist countryside” and “Integration of city and countryside”,research the factors of famers’ concurrent business behaviors and the approaches and methods ofhow to realize the economic benefits and the interactive effect of the government and farmers,which is has important practical significance of improve the rural economy and increase farmers’income and absorbing the rural surplus labor force.In this paper, we use the following study methods: theoretical analysis and actual analysis,normative analysis and positive analysis, quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. The articlestructure arrangement as follows:The first part is the introduction, described the background, the purpose and the significance ofthe study, and the review of relevant studies, raised the innovation points and the shortcomings.The second part is the related concepts and the theoretical basis, define the concept of farmers’internal factors and part time farming, introduces the related theory of part time farming, includingthe Comparative advantage theory, The household economic behavior theory, Labor consumption equilibrium theory, and Involution theory.The third part summarizes the evolution and the current situation of the part time farming, andanalysis the development trends of the part time farming.The fourth part analysis the influence mechanism of how the farmers’ internal factorsinfluencing the farmers’ concurrent business behavior. The main influencing factors of part timefarming including the external factors (the natural factors, the policies and systems factors,economic and social factors, etc) and the internal factors (household characteristic factors, personalcharacteristics factors, the features of agricultural production and rural community factors, etc.).This chapter is mainly research the manner and degree of how the internal factors influencing thefarmers’ concurrent business behavior.The fifth part constructs The Binary Logistic regression model in order to empirical analysisthe influence of farmers’ internal factors upon farmers’ concurrent business behavior of Qingdao.The sixth part summaries of the entire study, put forward the research conclusion, as well as thepolicy Suggestions.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows: the variables of education level, labor ageand gender which is selected from personal characteristic are significantly affected farmers’concurrent business behavior; the variables which is selected from agricultural productioncharacteristic are significantly affected farmers’ concurrent business behavior; the variables of thetotal number of domestic population and amount of cultivated land, which is selected fromhousehold characteristic are significantly affected farmers’ concurrent business behavior.
