With the growing business competition, corporate information technology has become the choice of most companies, the ERP system is the main form of enterprise information. The successful implementation of the ERP system can not only enhance the management level of enterprises, but also can improve the competitiveness of enterprises force. However, due to ERP project cost, long cycle, also need a number of departments,so the ERP system success rate is not high. In the study of the success factors of ERP systems, the majority of scholars most about the implementation of the enterprise. The scholars have mentioned four factors is the support of senior management, business process reengineering, project management and user training. However,in the ERP market, products always is a standardized software packages, including financial management modules, sales management, human resource management module module, customer relationship management modules and production planning module and other modules. However, because different companies have different processes and with different purposes, therefore external consultants to assist companies to complete the implementation of the project is needed. Therefore, this paper from the point of the ERP consultants, to explore the capacity of ERP consultants to affect the successful implementation of ERP systems. First, from the point of the organization and management proposed a model of the successful implementation of ERP systems, and the model was validated using empirical methods. Second, to explore the capacity of consultant on the successful implementation of ERP systems. Again, explore the relationship between consultant capacity and other factors. Lastly, I hope that this study can play a role in the actual work to the consulting firm and implementation of enterprise. The main contents of the study are as follows:Chapter I:Introduction describes the background and purpose of this study point of view of topics and research questions.Chapter Ⅱ:The literature relevant to the study, including ERP theory, the concept of ERP consultants, ERP system implementation process, ERP Success Factors of ERP system and evaluation of ERP success.Chapter Ⅲ:ERP systems success model and assumptions. According to the second chapter of the relevant literature, get the proposed model and research hypotheses of this study, and to make a clear definition of the variables. This chaper is also the focus of the paper, especially in the obtain of ERP success model.Based on a lot of literature of the ERP critical success factors, the author get the model of the paper.Chapter Ⅳ:Research methods. This chapter is mainly to determine the research methods、detailed questionnaire design and the study sample. This study used a survey method, on the basis of the maturity scale, and combined with the purpose of this study, obtained the final questionnaire of the study. The overall sample of this research is the enterprise who have implemented or implementing of ERP system.Chapter Ⅴ:Data analysis. On the recovery of data having a statistical analysis to validate the model and data is consistent. And verify the assumptions of this study is set up, finally through model updating get the final model.Chapter Ⅵ:Conclusions and recommendations. The chapter is to the main conclusions、recommendations、defects and follow-up of this study, the recommendations of the study. On the recovery of data analysis, the conclustions of the paper is followings:(1)The capacity of ERP consultant、top management support、business process reengineering、project management and user training have a positive effect for ERP system success. Therefore, the enterprise can strengthen the capacity of these areas in order to improve the success rate of ERP systems. Particularly the enterprise should pay attention to the choice of ERP consultants.(2) The relation consultants capable of top management support、project management and user training has a positive role. However, the relation between the ability of the consultant on business process reengineering does not positive. On the basis of the final model, the author put up some practical suggestions, including from the perspective of the business and ERP consulting firm. The suggestions of the enterprise is that following external consultants、careful selection of the ERP consulting services company、strengthen understanding of the ERP and strengthen project management capacity. For the consulting firm the author suggest to strengthen the training and mutual exchange between the ERP consultants. Although this article is the use of empirical methods, but this article still has some shortcomings, such as not recovery the other factors that affect the success of the ERP system into the model, and the sample size is not big enough. There are three main innovation of this study. First, from the perspective of topics, in the study of the factors affecting ERP system, mostly from the perspective of enterprise, such as top management support、business process reengineering、project management and user training, few scholars from the perspective of consultants to study the impact of ERP systems. Second, this paper not only research consultant capacity on the successful implementation of ERP systems, but also tried to explore the impact of the consulting capacity for other impact variables. Third, research methods, the success factors of ERP systems, mostly be analyzing by case analysis, the authors believe that the case study method has some limitations. This article uses empirical research to verify the proposed model and assumptions.
