Researching On The Migrant Workers’ Housing From People’s Livelihood

With the development of industrialization and urbanization speeding up in China, lots of rural surplus labour transfer to cities and become to "Migrant workers". Migrant workers bring a wealth of urban construction and development of labor resources, and have made great contributions to China’s economic and social development, but the issues they have a growing. Migrant workers’ housing problem is one of the major problems.Current housing situation of migrant workers is "dirty, chaotic and poor ". Their living space is small, living conditions is bad, infrastructure is not complete, survival needs have no insurance, and development needs are regulated. Migrant workers’ housing is an important livelihood issues, it is directly related whether the right to life of migrant workers are protected.This article is based on this idea, research the Migrant Workers’ housing from people’s livelihood. This article reads as follows:Chapter Ⅰ is the introduction section of this article, mainly on the study on the background and significance, domestic and international research, research thought and methods.Chapter Ⅱ sets out Marxist thought of people’s livelihood, and four generations of collective leadership of the Communist Party and people’s livelihood,which is the theory basis for this article.Then by carding thought of Chinese ancient and modern times, modern housing security, proofing housing is an important livelihood issues.Chapter Ⅲ expounds significance of the time on solving migrant workers housing and livelihood problems. Solving migrant workers housing problems is an embodiment of practice the latest theoretical fruit of Marxism with China, is the requirement to construct harmonious society, is an important steps to push the Urbanized Process.It is helpful in improving migrant workers’ sense of belonging and a sense of happiness.Chapter Ⅳ through the analysis of present situation of migrant workers live,sums up the cause of the problem of housing security of peasant workers:limits, urban housing security system of household registration system of exclusion, low income levels for migrant workers, the enterprise failed to due diligence, and four more. Chapter V from the perspective of people’s livelihood to explore ways to resolve housing for migrant workers, mainly from the ideological understanding, policies and regulations, the functions of the Government, enterprises and individual level proposed solutions.
