With the development of tourism consumption demand changes, folklore culturetourism is increasingly becoming the focus of modern tourism, by the national tourismindustry and academia pays close attention to generally. Xiangxi folk culture tourism isrich in resources, with the development of folklore culture tourism product advantage.However, at present, some of the local characteristics of folk culture tourism resourceshas not been reasonable development and utilization, resource advantage fails to bechanged into the advantage of industry. Xiangxi rich folk culture tourism resourcesvalue sufficient mining, make its become attractive better feature tourism product, is ofgreat research value.In this paper, according to the characteristics of the study and research taskcharacteristics, with the marketing, tourism economics, ethnology, cultural studies,regional economics and other disciplines of tools and methods for research. Take thetheory research and literature research, both qualitative and quantitative research,specifically using data statistics, comparative analysis and other methods of analysis andresearch. The train of thought of this thesis is, based on the current academic researchhotspots, characteristics, inadequacy undertook summing up, and taking Xiangxi folkcultural tourism products as the research object, to the theory of market positioning,product innovation theory, marketing theory, folklore culture tourism productdevelopment mode and system theory as the basis, for the development of based on thetheory of extension analysis; followed by the surrounding Xiangxi folk culture tourismproduct development this one theme, analysis of Xiangxi folk culture tourism productdevelopment present situation, existing problems and development restrict an element toundertake an analysis, put forward Xiangxi folk culture product development shouldtake integrated mode; the final products from the market positioning, productdevelopment and marketing strategy three aspects of Xiangxi folk culture tourismproduct development countermeasure.
