| The airlines in China began to buy new airplanes through operatinglease from eightieth last century. In that case, the first lease airplanes cameinto the last years according to the leasing contract from beginning of thiscentury. Now, the new project, airplane redelivery project has come toairlines eye sight. In last twenty years, China economy has come into a rapidroad, meanwhile the airlines in China has bought many new airplanes andthe airplanes bought through operating lease is almost60percent of allairplanes.The airplane redelivery project has the same characteristics as theproject definition, so it is necessary to use the project management theory toresearch the airplane redelivery project. The research of airplane redeliveryproject will be helpful to airlines in order to reduce the cost and keep theproject schedule.Based on the theory, this article begin to research the critical issues ofthe airplane redelivery project from the project quality management, projectorganization management and project risk management. After that, the article introduce some new steps to airlines in China in order to solve the criticalissues of the project quality management, the project organizationmanagement and project risk management. Based on the study of theory,linked to the CRJ-200redelivery project between the Shanghai Airlines andGECAS, the article introduced some new steps which applied to the project.These new steps refer to the project quality management, projectorganization management and project risk management. After the project,Shanghai Airlines evaluated the new steps and give the good evaluation.These new steps can reduce the cost, increase the quality and keep theproject schedule. From this case, it can identify that the new steps can boostthe project.Through research of the project quality management, projectorganization management and project risk management, the new steps cansolve the critical issues in the airplane redelivery project. |
