Lean Production is now a popular manufacturing management method.The core of Lean Production is to eliminate waste, to pull from thecustomer and to do continuous improvement. It has been proved to be asuccessful method to reduce cost and improve efficiency across the world.Lean Production is focus on customer value. Lean Production organizesthe manufacturing process by value-added work; try to eliminate waste byvalue stream map analysis, continuous flow and single minute exchangemould, etc. Thus, the company who implement Lean Production could getthe significant benefit on lead time reduction, inventory cut-off, costreduction and feasibility improvement.This thesis analyzes the production of F Company, lists the mainissues they are facing now, such as labor cost increasing, cash flowproblem. And according to the production process, this thesis provide asolution by using value stream management mould to reorganize thecompany and re-layout the production workshop, so as to fix these issues.Finally, this thesis also summarizes the experience from this case.The main phases of value stream management mould are as followed:first, identify the bottleneck and waste of the whole process by currentvalue stream map analysis; second, re-layout the workshop to realizecontinuous flow; third, reorganize the company department to implementvalue stream management; fourth, optimize safety stock setup to reduceinventory. Based on these improvements, F Company gets the result ofcutting inventory by50%, increasing the labor efficiency by50%. All these results show the success of value stream management mould and itcould be expend to other product family as well. F Company willcontinue to implement Lean Production and build a Lean culture in thefuture.The F company case experience could be copied by othermanufacturing company. If the other company could learn the method ofLean Production and practice well, they could also improve theircompetition in the market.
